Eoin Colfer is the author of the popular children and young adults series Artemis Fowl, which follow the story of the 12 year old criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl. He has also written many standalones, including airman, The Supernaturalists, and The Wishlist. Eoin Colfer (pronounced 'Owen') was born in 1965, in Wexford, Ireland. He began writing stories about Vikings in Primary school. After leaving school he got a degree at Dublin University, qualifiing as a primary school teacher.He married in 1991, and had his first book published in 1998.
