The Atomics!

The Atomics LogoWhen I visited Atom Books HQ in London for their blogger meet-up, the mentioned a new scheme they were going to introduce called The Atomics– a scheme where 12-18 year olds can sign up and receive free review copies of up coming books published by Atom. Being the only under-age person at the meet-up, I was adopted as their very first Atomic…

That was all a few weeks ago, and today I got an email from Atom declaring the Atomics scheme officially open! If you’re under 18, and interested in reading/reviewing up and coming books, I fully recommend this; even if you don’t own a blog (The Atomics was specifically set up for non-bloggers, although it doesn’t matter if you do own one), as all the reviews will be published on the Atom/Atomics website.

Some infomation from the press release:

Atom, the young adult fiction imprint of Little, Brown, is delighted to announce the creation of The Atomics – a brand new young reviewers programme for readers aged twelve to eighteen.

Atom has been busy expanding their list to include a wide-range of young adult titles, including mystery, adventure and humour alongside their more well-known paranormal series. And now they want to share it with everyone else!

Anyone who joins The Atomics will get the chance to receive pre-publication copies of new titles to review. The reviewers for each month will have their reviews posted in a new, dedicated section of the Atom website where they can be seen and commented on by anyone else who is interested in Atom’s books.

You can sign up to the Atomics scheme at http://www.atombooks.net/atomics/
